20 Things I'm Thankful for This Thanksgiving- Part Two

So yesterday I wrote my list of the big things in life I'm thankful for, and today I'm writing a list of the little things that make me happy. There are way over 10 little things that I am thankful for, but these are ten little things that make me smile on a regular basis. I'm excited about Thanksgiving tomorrow- I'm going to write a big post on Friday about my first Thanksgiving!! I hope you have a great day tomorrow, those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving!!

1. Makeup

God I look bloody awful in the morning. Props to all you girls who can go out confident in your beauty, but I am not one of you. I'd love to be a natural beauty, but I definitely improve dramatically with some makeup!!

2. Hair dye
You do not want to see me with my natural hair colour. Seriously. Thank god for bleach!!

3. Not having a stupid name
Thank you, parents. You had all the choices in the world in the early 90s. I could have been Rainbow, or Dusk, or Storm or something. I may have hated it as a child, but Charlotte isn't too bad. I doubt anyone would take me seriously if I was a Sequoia. 

4. Online shopping
America, you are awesome, but you are lacking in certain areas. Namely Top Shop, New Look, River Island and Miss Selfridge to name a few. Aah the beauty of online shopping...

5. Tea
Do I even need to elaborate?

6. Contact lenses

Is there a greater invention ever? I'm short sighted, as in really short sighted. You'd never know that, would you? As much as I love my Miu Miu glasses I do not suit specs. They don't even make me look intelligent.

7. Glamour

British Glamour is the magazine of choice, but American will do at times. Fashion, celebrities, real life... what more does a girl need?

8. My OCD

My OCD and I have a love-hate relationship. I love it on those days where I have set up every hour of the day and what I plan to do and I complete the day feeling accomplished. I dislike it on the days when it forces me to get up to go the gym at 6.30am.

9. Books

I love the small pleasures in life, and one of them is to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book. I love to read something I've been waiting a long time to read and the satisfaction of finishing it.

10. Tomato Ketchup

I absolutely love ketchup. As in, I couldn't actually hope without it. I eat it with everything. Few foods are tomatoey enough for me, so ketchup makes everything taste, well, of ketchup. A wonderful, wonderful invention. Thanks, Mr. Heinz.
