Second Chances

I really wanted to give this dress another go as I wasn't 100% sure about my outfit on Saturday. I actually have another couple of remixing ideas which I'd like to try before sending it on to the other girls in The Lovely Ones. Today's outfit is much more me, don't you think?

As you can probably tell by the lack of photography skills, these were not taken by my lovely boyfriend, but just me alone with my tripod as usual. Sob. BUT the boyfriend has updated his Flickr now so you should go head over if you're interested in his photography. I'm hoping to drag him out again this week at some point. Seeing these photos made me realize how damn good at photography he is!! However, I was a naughty girl yesterday and caved and bought a portrait lens. I am done for camera stuff now. I am dedicating all my time to my camera book and not buying anything new for a really long time now!! I realised when I went onto Flickr that my only pictures are items for The Lovely Ones, so I'm going to get on that. I do occasionally post photos on Tumblr if you follow me there though.

Today was another epic fail day much like Friday. I went downtown to do another interview for my journalism story due tomorrow, and was really happy to have gotten everything done within 20 minutes. I headed to the bus stop and thought "fab, I see a bus!!", not even thinking, I jumped on. It took me about 5 minutes to realise I was on the wrong bus. I ended up riding it for 45 minutes before getting off at the same bus stop where I started. Le sigh. I then went to the supermarket to kill some time and fell over and cut my hand. Fail fail fail. Fortunately I am now in the library with my story first-drafted so I'm feeling a little better about my day. I think the bag of Sour Patch Kids (my favourites :]]]) helped too!!
