Valentine's Recap
I want to incorporate more photography into my blog, although I need to spend a lot of time working on it and getting used to my camera. I really want to invest in a 1.8 50mm portrait lens (hopefully with my birthday money!!) because I think it will be really useful for the kinds of photographs I take.
I'll bring you a proper update tomorrow, but these are just a few photos from yesterday. However I completely stopped taking pictures as soon as my boyfriend arrived so there actually aren't any of what I cooked (thought there is a picture of the recipe!!).
Peanut Butter Cup cookies, sort-of cut into heart shapes
What I bought my boy- although he keeps threatening to watch Dexter without me so I may have to confiscate it!!
As some of you may know, I really love the Hungry Girl books and her blog. These quesadillas were amazing and I will definitely be making them again!! I'll have to get a picture next time!!
The cookie cutters I used to make the cookies. I made a batch for him to take home and saved extra batter so I could whack a new batch in after dinner to have warm with milk!!
Chips and Salsa are about my biggest weakness in the world.
What I wore. I actually got changed later as I was a little over-dressed for the cinema, but I hadn't worn this dress for a while and thought it was perfect for Valentine's Dinner!
What I received from my lovely Valentine. Did I mention I like pandas?
I hope you had a lovely day yesterday whatever you did. Tomorrow I will write a proper post and announce the winner of my giveaway!!
Have a lovely Tuesday,
Charlotte xxx

ReplyDeleteYour blog has changed so much! It's obviously been too long since I've been here, but I must say, I love what you've done with the place :) It looks like you had a wonderful Valentine's day, and that red dress is stunning... Is the brooch part of it, or is it something you added? Either way, it's lovely.
