Forever 21- Part 2

Well yesterday I posted about my actual 21st Birthday, so this post is about my celebrations! I decided to go to a great little cocktail bar in Duluth which I'd been to before- I didn't want a crazy night but I wanted to dress up and have cocktails and sushi and a good time! I realised that you can't see my outfit in any of the pictures from the night (damn you, 50mm lens!) so here is the dress that I wore. It's the Tasteful in Tumeric dress from Modcloth which my lovely boyfriend bought me before it sold out. I wore it with a leather jacket and shoe boots.

We spent the night drinking martinis and eating sushi and then moved on to the same Mexican place I went to on my Birthday and ate chips and salsa (again!!) and drunk margaritas (again!!). I loved spending my birthday  with my favourite people, so here are some photos from the night. (I had my camera on auto so my friend could take the pictures and it had the flash of death. I couldn't get the ISO high enough in such a dark setting and keep the Apperture low. It was only when my boyfriend came and put my camera on ISO auto that the pictures came out way better, but it was too late in the night by then. Ahh I know for the future!!)

I definitely need to bring my camera out more often. It's so great to have lovely pictures to go with the memories from the night. I also really want to get some use of the flash my parents bought me for my birthday- I think I'll be able to have a lot of fun with that!! I had an absolutely awesome 21st and am so blessed with the wonderful people in my life.

I'm away this weekend for my housemate's bachelorette party, but I'll be back with an outfit post on Monday!
