All that glitters
Let's all just take a second to admire the sheer amazingness of this skirt from Lavish Alice. I am so in love. I've been after a sequin skirt for a while, and when I saw this outfit (Kate of O My Heart), I knew I had to get one.
Today has been my "saturday", my "me" day. I've been so busy and stressed this week that I've not had time to sort my life out. I just needed a day to have a good lie in, reply to emails and make phonecalls, go grocery shopping and do all those little errands that you don't get time to do when you're busy. My housemates are all out tonight watching Twilight, and I really, really hate Twilight, so I've got the house to myself, and I am enjoying it very much. I've got a sweet potato tagine cooking, I'm in sweatpants and a hoodie and I'm watching endless Come Dine With Me with Look, Glamour, Marie Claire and lots of cups of tea. Love. I feel so relaxed and regenerated, and I am ready for a nice early night ready to get back on it with all my work tomorrow. Oh and I don't know if you guys remember me reading The Help a few weeks ago? Well, I went to see the film last night. I wasn't expecting to like it too much, because I adored the book. But I loved it and I thought it was a really faithful adaptation. We also went to the Electric Cinema, which is an old theatre. The seats are super-comfy and you can have alcohol and cake and hot chocolate with your film!!

Oh, and we have a new microwave- yay! I ordered one yesterday and got it to come today so I can finally cook my vegetables and reheat leftovers again! I also got a fab parcel from home today with my Marie Claire subscription in, an advent calendar from my parents and, most excitingly, the snood my Mum knitted me! It's amazing- I love it! I'm hoping my Nan will teach my how to knit over Christmas. I'd love to have unlimited scarves!!
Oh, as you might be able to tell, it was pretty windy when I took these photos and I have some hilarious outtakes. This is my favourite-
Beautiful!
Well, my tagine is ready so I'm gonna get snuggled up and laze in front of the TV!!
Have a fabulous evening,
Charlotte x
