Just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive! I hope you have been enjoying the lovely guests posts- I know I have!- but I really miss you guys when I don't blog, so I thought I'd just say hi.
Not much to report as you can imagine. I went home for my Grandma's funeral on Wednesday. It was a lovely service, and while it was a sad time, I felt so close to my family and it really made me appreciate the importance of family. I'm lucky to have a big, close family and it was nice to spend time with them, even if the occasion wasn't the best. It's taking me a long time to accept my Grandma's death, and from speaking to my other family members, I know I'm not the only one. It hasn't really hit anyone yet. For some reason, we're all feeling very different to when we lost my Grandad. At first I was getting really mad at myself that I couldn't mourn and it didn't feel real to me, but I realise now it's just going to take some time.
Anyway, on a lighter note, I got my paper on Tuesday and I'm happy to say I'm doing okay! I have both my answers planned for the essays, so now I just have to keep going over them and practising writing them because we can't take anything into the exam. I can't believe my degree is going to be over on Tuesday! Scary! BUT! I booked my flights to NJ yesterday, AND I booked my 22-day road trip from NY to SF. I'm SO excited! I'm also really looking forward to a few days in MN before I come home. Finally, you'll all be glad to know I went to the dry cleaners yesterday and my coat is completely ink free! Crisis averted!
Okay well that's all from me. I have one more guest post but then I should be back next Wednesday. I'd better get back to studying for my exam.
