Today
Today we were supposed to be going to the beach, but at midday when we were ready to go it was a little chilly so we decided to spend the day on the boardwalk. It was such a fun day. We, or Stephen at least, spent an awful lot of time and money in the arcades trying to win me a panda pillow. I ate delicious fried shrimp. We played board games and ate s'mores. Then afterwards we walked along the boardwalk and Rachel and Stephen let me practice my portrait photography on them. It was such a fun day. Sometimes the most fun is had when you least expect it. Tomorrow is my second day off before I head back to work on Wednesday and I'm excited to have a day of catching up on errands, instead of doing them all on Monday and then being bored by Tuesday. Tomorrow we're also having races in the lazy river at work. It should be a lot of fun. I'm so glad I came here. I'm living for fun and new experiences. Isn't that what being young is about? I think so.
I need that panda pillow in my life!

Arcades are great fun. My dad and me have a tradition of visiting terrible seaside arcades; we can spend hours playing on the penny falls.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're enjoying your time over there after your shaky start. I'm loving reading about your adventures!
