Marks and Spencer Statement Coat- Three Ways

Remember how I really love coats? Well those lovely folk at Marks and Spencer found out about my coat obsession and asked me to get involved in their latest styling challenge. The challenge was to style a statement coat in three different ways- proving that a statement coat can be versatile! I chose this gorgeous leopard print coat (of course I couldn't resist leopard print!), which is a kind of biker style. It's super-thick and warm, and I love that it's a bit edgy-not what you normally expect from Marks and Spencer. Here is how I wore it...
Outfit One
black dress- Clothing at Tesco
leopard ballet flats- Miss KG
necklace- Topshop

You can't really tell from these photos but I'm actually wearing leopard print flats here to go with the leopard of the dress. For the first outfit, I decided to keep it simple with just a little black dress and leopard flats to really let the coat stand out.

Outfit Two
leather skirt- c/o Lavish Alice
maroon jumper- c/o Chiara Fashion
maroon heels- New Look

For this outfit, I tried to create something that felt classy and really "Marks and Spencer". I decided to go for a pencil skirt, but in leather for a edgy twist, and a big chunky knit jumper (does anyone else associate Marks with great, warm knitwear?), and of course, heels. This felt grown up and sophisticated and I felt it worked perfectly with the coat for a understated, but classic look.

Outfit Three
leopard dress- H&M
ankle boots- c/o Clothing at Tesco

For my last outfit I decided to have a bit of fun and pair leopard with leopard. I love mixed prints and initially I was going to go for leopard and tartan, but in the end I went with double leopard. I added heeled boots to make this a bit more of a cute evening outfit and I think they go perfectly with the biker style of the coat.

Choosing just three outfits was really hard. I'm already envisioning this coat with tall boots and leggings, crazy printed tights, paired with a tartan dress... I love a good statement coat because in the winter, 90% of the time your coat is all anyone sees so why not pick one that stands out?

Which is your favourite outfit? How would you wear this coat?
